Aman Le Mélézin

Aman Le Mélézin is imperiously positioned directly on the magnificent Bellecôte piste in Courchevel 1850. Amidst the snow-covered forests of Les Trois Vallées, this is a 5-star Alpine experience that's second to none, with world-class skiing directly from the hotel, cosy chalet-style rooms and suites and a chic, exclusive atmosphere.

Re-opening in December 2017 after a full refurbishment, Aman Le Mélézin is poised to improve further on its already legendary reputation, combining world-class skiing in Les Trois Vallées with the charm of a cosy 5-star Alpine hideaway.

Each of the cedar-panelled rooms and suites at Le Mélézin live up to Aman expectations with contemporary-classic Alpine design and elegant finishes.  Its dramatic position overlooking the magnificent Bellecôte piste provides breath-taking views of the mountains, the slopes and the village below. Book a room or suite with a hot tub and enjoy mesmerising Alpine views from your private terrace.

Ski-in, ski-out

With 600 kms of groomed pistes available, the skiing and snowboarding directly from the hotel is perfect for all levels of experience, but you will also find plenty of other pursuits, too, including: snowmobiling, snowshoeing and paragliding. A romantic hot-air balloon ride at sunrise us another way to savour the striking Alpine landscape in its hue of translucent colours. Aprés-ski activities include the famous Courchevel 1550 evening tobogganing run, lit-up to delight visitors.

For those travelling with younger children, take advantage of the new Kids' Club and the Village des Enfants ski school, where young guests can be entertained on and off the slopes.

Back at the hotel, indulge your senses with signature restorative spa treatments at the brand new Aman Spa, which now occupies and entire floor, with a subterranean swimming pool, five treatment rooms, a Thai massage room, a wood sauna, an authentic stone hammam, state-of-the-art fitness centre and yoga studio.

Also new is Nama, the second Aman restaurant to be guided by Japanese master chef Keiji Matoba, showcasing exquisite sushi, sashimi and Wagyu beef, fusing the freshest local ingredients with Japanese craftsmanship.

Winter never looked so good
