Luxury Travel Reservation Consultant

Luxury Explorer is seeking an experienced Luxury Travel Reservations Consultant to join our concierge team on a full-time basis, based in Thames Ditton, Surrey, UK.

The right candidate will have a good knowledge of, and high level of interest in, 5-star hotels and/or luxury villas including long-haul destinations. The role will involve being responsible for booking hotels, tailor-made itineraries and luxury villas around the world.

Luxury Travel Reservations Consultant responsibilities include:

  • Planning, designing, selling and implementing top quality tailor-made itineraries to a variety of regions
  • Building a loyal clientele by managing all the clients' travel requirements and exceeding client's expectations in terms of service and attention to detail
  • Responsibility of individual reservations from initial enquiry to final documentation & post travel follow up - to include all administration duties.

Luxury Travel Reservations Consultant required experience:

  • Excellent destination/product knowledge in luxury tailor-made travel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a charming sales manner
  • Commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Fully computer literate with a superior working knowledge of MSWord and MSExcel and able to use Salesforce CRM
  • Interested in supporting website content management in terms of hotel reviews and product details
  • Attention to detail essential, with the ability to price travel arrangements
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working with little supervision and who can take responsibility for their trips and clients
  • Strong organisation & time management skills
