A Luxe-trotter's Guide to Bali, Lombok, Moyo Island and Central Java
Indonesia hosts the world's largest archipelago, running from Sumatra, just below Singapore, almost to Australia. In the middle is the most famous of all the islands, Bali, one of the kindest and most welcoming places you could ever visit. Its 'little sister' is Lombok, a short flight away across the Lombok Strait, while Moyo Island is a sea plane flight further East, at the beginning of the Nusa Tenggara islands that extend to Timor, 1,300 kms away. The larger island of Java is immediately to the West of Bali.
We have hand-picked the finest luxury resorts to be found in Indonesia, providing luxe-trotters with the opportunity to discover the diversity and cultural spirit of these exquisite islands.
Bali is the international gateway to the islands and easily reached from Europe and the USA via Singapore or Hong Kong. There are also direct flights from other Asian and Australian cities. Bali's international airport is Denpasar, in the south of the island, and all our resorts on the island offer private transfers which take between between 15 minutes and one hour, depending on the specific location. Connections with other islands are also easily arranged.
