5-star villa guide to Mykonos

Legend has it that this island stands upon defeated giants slain by the demi-god, Hercules, and it takes its name from Apollo's grandson. With such a grand heritage, Mykonos has a great deal to live up to, but it definitely still delivers.

Nestled in the centre of the Cycladic Islands, Mykonos, once the poorest of the Greek islands, saw it rise to mythical holiday heights in the 1950s, when it began to attract a bohemian crowd. It has seen a number of reincarnations since then, now becoming a hub for high-end visitors seeking 5-star luxury.

The nightlife and buzz of Mykonos are focused around Hóra, the island's main town. Here, you can find luxury boutiques, excellent restaurants and a vibrant nightlife. A typical evening schedule would start with sundowners in a portside bar, before getting lost in the town's warren of lanes and alleys before ending up in one of the town's tavernas or fine dining restaurants. Asking the locals for directions in these alleys is the norm - Google Maps will not save you here!

Mykonos offers the excitement of town life, but also a tranquil escape on the southern coastline. Our villas here are all luxurious, blending into the attractive landscape. Villa Celine, Villa Cerasia and Villa Thelma each offer an authentic Greek experience, whilst ensuring that every luxury you could need is on hand - while the buzz of Mykonos is never too far away.
