This hotel's history is set deeply woven into the story of the region, painstakingly rescued from its isolated location high in the French Alps and re-united with Megève. Les Fermes de Marie has been lovingly restored to its current glory by the owners of some of our favourite hotels in Provence: Villa Marie in Saint-Tropez and La Bastide de Marie in the Luberon.

Magical Megève

Megève is a charming, uncrowded, authentic Alpine ski resort set high in the mountains below Mont Blanc. The town has preserved its Savoyard heritage, remaining a traditional mountain village with a dash of chic and breathtaking views all year-round.

Under a thick layer of snow, the skiing in Megève appeals to beginners, intermediates and pros. Hundreds of kms of runs are available from the town with 80 integrated ski lifts spanning three areas. 175 snow cannons almost guarantees excellent skiing throughout the season.

In spring and summer, explore 150kms of hiking trails and enjoy the crisp, clean mountain air. Jazz, Blues and Dance Festivals are all part of Megève's warmer months' attractions.

Le Restaurant Traditionnnel in the heart of the main chalet offers an delightfiul combination of rustic and refined cusiine using local ingredients and  elegant flavours. Restaurant Alpin specialises in fondues. La Salle a Manger focuses on truffles and L'Alpage offers the ultimate in rustic-chic cuisine - dining in the fresh air or under the stars on a terrace besides a restored  cabin high up in the mountains.
