Write a hotel review in six words!

Ernest Hemingway was once famously challenged to a $10 bet that he couldn't write a story in just 6 words. He won the wager and it is said that he thought the result was his finest work: 'For sale: baby shoes, never worn.'

This story has captivated and inspired many writers over the years and triggered an idea here at Luxury Explorer. If you find it wearisome trawling through thousands of online hotel reviews of woe and wonder, questioning whether any of the contributors have anything at all in common with yourself, why not share your views on our luxury hotels with like-minded Luxe-trotters - in just six words?

Here's how it works

Entry is simple: first join The Luxe-trotters' Club (click here to join); reviews must be about recent visits to our hotels; they must be fair and honest; they must be publishable (!); contributors can submit multiple reviews; and in submitting your six word review you grant us the right to use and reproduce the the material you submit on a royalty-free basis. We will credit each review with the name of the reviewer.

Prizes galore!

Every month we will pick our Top6 sixwordreviews and the 6 winning reviewers will each win a bottle of chilled champagne and a complimentary upgrade with their next Luxury Explorer booking. The monthly winners will be judged by a panel chaired by Sophie Marchant, our Travel Editor, and announced and published in our monthly Luxe-trotters' Club members' newsletter.
