Luxury Explorer offers its Members 25% or more off first and business class flights

Today, April 24th Luxury Explorer - the World Atlas of Luxury Travel - has launched another innovative service that enables its luxe-trotting Personal Members to save 25% (sometimes up to 50%) on scheduled first and business class international airfares. It introduces this service in an exclusive partnership with Spotnana - a specialist travel company based in Austin, Texas.

Called 'LuxuryExplorer First Class', Personal Members are now able to request a quote for first and business class international airline tickets by filling in a simple online form. Only scheduled airlines, such as BA, Virgin, United, Singapore Airlines, etc, are used and all the benefits of standard scheduled tickets are retained, except at significantly lower cost. For example, Members will earn full mileage with their loyalty programmes, date changes are allowed, but standard ticket rules still apply.

Luxury Explorer's Chairman, Peter Matthews, said "With Luxury Explorer First Class we can offer discounts of 25% or more off published longhaul scheduled fares - sometimes much more. By saving our luxe-trotting Members money on their flights, they can upgrade to suites at our beautiful hotels within the same budget. We have identified this as a growing trend."

He continued "Savings earned on a specific route are dependant on a variety of factors; but, on average, we expect our Members to save 25-30%. For example a trip from San Francisco to London on a leading UK carrier in Upper/Business Class is around $10,600. We can usually offer this for $6,800. From London to JFK a normal business class ticket is £3900, we will be able to offer savings of £800 or more."

Spotnana's founder, Sarosh Waghmar added "We have an intricate understanding of how airlines manage their seat inventories as well as unique expertise in fare construction techniques which come together to allow us get the best deals to the customer."

Luxury Explorer is already recognized for innovation in luxury travel, having introduced map-based browsing of its 150+ 5 star luxury hotels by piecing together satellite maps of the World, allowing users to zoom down to country and even to street level in city locations. LE was also one of the first luxury travel sites to introduce RSS feeds, in February this year. And in March introduced TravelNotes - a members-only private database of personal travel resources.

Annual Personal Membership of Luxury Explorer is free until June 1st this year, when an annual membership fee of GB£150 will be introduced to new applications.
