Luxury Explorer launches direct-to-you news and promotions service

Luxury Explorer, the World Atlas of where to stay in luxury, has launched an innovative new service that eliminates the need to trawl through hundreds of web pages to find the latest luxury travel news and offers.

Called RSS, which stands for 'Really Simple Syndication', this new technology delivers only content that is relevant to the user, directly to the desktop, avoiding the need to click from site to site. Luxury Explorer will start by RSS-enabling all its 5 Star Special Offers, which will mean subscribers to this free service will receive all the best offers as soon as they are posted on www.luxuryexplorer.com

Included in the RSS feeds will be the popular limited-availability Luxury Explorer Exclusives, such as the current '7 nights for the price of 5' at Carlisle Bay, Antigua.

Not many websites currently provide RSS, but those that do are leaders in the field of distributing online content, such as the BBC, New York Times and CNN. Luxury Explorer is pleased to be in such good company.

The Luxury Explorer RSS service is delivered by Nucleus, a leading brand and internet services consultancy.
