In April 2007, The Dorchester was once again presented with the prestigious Top London Afternoon Tea 2007 Award by The British Tea Council. This is the third time that the hotel has won this award since 2000 and The Dorchester is the only London hotel to achieve this distinction.

This award, judged by a team of 'incognito tea inspectors', is fiercely contested. However thanks to the "exceptional, attentive yet discreet service" and the "excellent selection of teas", The Dorchester managed to once again clinch the title.
