Driving and Parking

From London Heathrow Airport (LHR):
Private Car: A pick-up in a private car will cost from approximately £90 each way and can be arranged by the hotel concierge by calling +44 (0) 20 7300 1405 prior to your arrival/departure.

Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport on a first-come, first-served basis. This will cost you approximately £65-£75 each way and will take approximately 1 hour of travel time.

The Underground: Take the Piccadilly Line to Green Park. Change to Victoria Line for Oxford Circus. Exit station and walk down Oxford Street toward Tottenham Court Road, past HMV record store & the Plaza shopping center. Berners Street is on the left (opposite Wardour Street). This will take approximately 1 hour of travel time and will cost £5 per/person each way.

Train: If you do not have a lot of luggage, Heathrow Express overground trains make non-stop trips to Central London (Paddington Station) and take 15-20 minutes. Trains depart every 15 minutes between 5 am and 12 midnight daily and cost £14 each way per person. From there, you will need to take a Black Taxi to Sanderson. This is approximately £12 and will take about 15 minutes.

From London Gatwick Airport (LGW):
Private Car: A pick-up in a private car will cost from approximately £140 each way and can be arranged by the hotel concierge by calling +44 (0) 20 7300 1405 prior to your arrival/departure.

Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport on a first-come, first-served basis. This will cost you approximately £90-115 each way and will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of travel time.

Train: If you do not have a lot of luggage, Gatwick Express overground trains make non-stop trips to Central London (Victoria Station) and take about 30-35 minutes. Trains depart every 15 minutes between 5 am and 11:45 pm daily and cost £13 each way per person. From there, you will need to take a Black Taxi to Sanderson. This is approximately £15 and will take about 15 minutes. You may also take the Underground - Victoria Line to Oxford Circus. Exit station and walk down Oxford Street toward Tottenham Court Road, past HMV record store & the Plaza shopping center. Berners Street is on the left (opposite Wardour Street). This will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of travel time and will cost £5 per/person each way.

From London Stansted Airport (STN):
Private Car: A pick-up in a private car will cost from approximately £150 each way and can be arranged by the hotel concierge by calling +44 (0) 20 7300 1405 prior to your arrival/departure.

Taxi: Courtesy phones are located in the baggage reclaim area. This will cost you approximately £110-130 each way and will take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes of travel time.

Train: If you do not have a lot of luggage, Stansted Express overground trains make non-stop trips to Central London (Liverpool Station) and take about 45 minutes. Trains depart every 15 minutes between 5:30 am and 12:30 Monday - Saturday and 5:30 am - 11:45 pm Sunday. The train costs £14.50 each way per person. From there, you will need to take a Black Taxi to Sanderson. This is approximately £15 and will take about 20 minutes. You may also take the Underground - Central Line to Tottenham Court Road Station. Exit station and walk down Oxford Street toward Oxford Circus. Berners Street will be on the right. This will take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes of travel time and will cost £5 per person each way.

From Luton Airport (LTN):
Private Car: A pick-up in a private car will cost approximately £150 each way and can be arranged by the hotel concierge by calling +44 (0) 20 7300 1405 prior to your arrival/departure.

Taxi: Taxi stands are located outside of the terminal building on a first-come, first-served basis. This will cost you approximately £90-115 each way and will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of travel time.

Train: If you do not have a lot of luggage, take the Thameslink Overground train to Central London 24 hours a day into King's Cross Station. This will take about 30 minutes and will cost you £11 per person each way. You can then take a black cab to Sanderson for approximately £8. You may also take the Underground - Victoria Line to Oxford Circus. Exit station and walk down Oxford Street toward Tottenham Court Road, past HMV record store & the Plaza shopping center. Berners Street is on the left (opposite Wardour Street). This will cost £5 per/person each way.

From London City Airport (LCY):

Private Car: A pick-up in a private car will cost approximately £90 each way and can be arranged by the hotel concierge by calling +44 (0) 20 7300 1405 prior to your arrival/departure.

Taxi: Taxi stands are located outside of the terminal building on a first-come, first-served basis. This will cost you approximately £55-65 each way and will take approximately 55 minutes of travel time.

The Underground: Take the blue shuttle bus to Canary Wharf between 6:55 am - 9:20 pm. Then take the DLR (Dockland Light Railway) to Liverpool Street Station. You may then take a black taxi to the hotel for approximately £15, which will take about 20 minutes of travel time. You may also take the Central Line to Tottenham Court Road Station. Exit station and walk down Oxford Street toward Oxford Circus. Berners Street is on the right (opposite Wardour Street). This will take approximately 1 hour of travel time and will cost £5 per/person each way.

Take M4 towards Central London/Hayes/A408/Uxbridge. Enter next roundabout and take 1st exit onto M4. Turn slight right onto A4. A4 becomes Great West Road. Pass through first roundabout. Keep right at the form to go on Hammersmith Flyover. Turn Slight left onto Talgarth Road. Talgarth Road becomes West Cromwell Road. West Cromwell Road becomes Cromwell Road. Cromwell Road becomes Cromwell Gardens. Cromwell Gardens becomes Thurlow Place. Thurloe Place becomes Brompton Road. Brompton Road becomes Knightsbridge. Turn slight right onto A4. From Points North (M1):
Drive all the way down M1 until it becomes Staples Corner. Enter next roundabout and take first exit onto Edgware Road. Edgware Road becomes Cricklewood Broadway. Cricklewood Broadway becomes Shoot Up Hill. Shoot UpHill becomes Kilburn High Road. Kilburn High Road becomes Kilburn Bridge. Kilburn Bridge becomes Kilburn High Road. Kilburn High Road becomes Maida Vale. Maida Vales becomes Edgware Road. Turn left onto ramp. Merge onto Marylebone Road. Turn right. Stay straight onto Langham Place. Turn left onto Mortimer Street. Turn left onto Westminster Bridge Road (A23). Turn left to stay on Westminster Bridge Road (A23). Turn right to stay on Westminster Bridge Road (A23). Turn left onto Westminster Bridge Road (A23), continue to follow road. Westminster Bridge Road becomes A302. Turn right onto Victoria Embankment (A3211). Turn left onto Northumberland Avenue (A400). Valet Parking: Valet parking costs £5 per transfer. NCP car park has hourly rates of up to £42 for 24 hours. There is a height-restriction which prohibits tall vehicles from entering. Sanderson is within London Congestion Charge zone (Monday through Friday £8 per day between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm.

Public Transportation

London's public transportation system consists of underground trains, tubes, buses and trams. Prices per person start from £1.50 for a single journey, and travelcards are available for daily/weekly/monthly travel across different zones, starting from £5 per person. There are night buses, however London Underground and most overground trains do not run between 12:30 am through to 5:30 am. Sanderson is an equal distance between Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street tube stations. Bus routes nearest to Sanderson include # 7, 10, 390 down Oxford Street.
