At Maroma, no two rooms are exactly alike. Villas are entirely handmade, and built using only local materials.
Mahogany, cedrella, caoba and ironwood are crafted into chairs, armoires, desks, vanities, doors and hand-painted tiles are used in the bathrooms. Bedspreads and the hammocks on the private terraces are made by local artisans and tile floors are topped with hand-woven area rugs so soft you could use them as shawls.
