May 2007 - The Grand Hotel Europe's main restaurant, L'Europe, has been named the best restaurant in St. Petersburg in three separate prestigious award competitions. L'Europe's first award came in the first interactive competition held on the website Menu.ru in the 'Best Cuisine' category.
The second prestigious award to go to L'Europe restaurant is the 'Best Restaurant in St. Petersburg 2007' in the category of 'Luxury Restaurants' and as the overall winner. This annual award competition is organised by the 'Commercial St. Petersburg' company, and more than 60 restaurants and cafes participated to this event.
The award competition jury was made up of specialists from the restaurant business, including well-known head chefs.
The third L'Europe's award came from 'My Favourite Restaurant' city competition, organised by Natasha Kesegi and her television programme 'Restaurant' shown on TNT channel.
