2003 - 2008

'21' is one of only seven restaurants in New York City to receive this prestigious award.

DiRoNA Award
Among '21's other numerous achievements, the restaurant has been bestowed with the DiRoNA Award (Distinguished Restaurants of North America), along with Where New York's "Visitors Choice Award" for best fine dining restaurant and best bar.

A “testament to NYC history”, this erstwhile Midtown speakeasy exuding “atmosphere galore” lures “heavy hitters” with “classic” Americana served in a “clubby”, jackets-required townhouse complete with 10 private rooms and a “secret” wine cellar, all overseen by an “unobtrusive” staff; for those daunted by the prices, the $40 pre-theater prix fixe may be the “deal of the century.”
