Time Zone
French Polynesia is 10 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time, 2 hours behind US Pacific Standard Time, and 20 hours behind Australian Eastern Standard Time.

What to Bring
Living is easy at the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort & Spa, but there are a few essentials guests should bring, including a bathing suit, reef shoes for walking on the coral reef; tennis shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sun block. Many of these items are available at the hotel gift shop and in the village of Vaitape as well.

How to Dress
A bathing suit or shorts and a t-shirt are fine for daytime. At night, we recommend “Resort Casual” - light dresses, shorts or pants suits for women and cotton, summer pants or shorts and short-sleeved shirts for men.  No jackets or ties are ever needed in Bora Bora.

Currency
The unit of currency is the Polynesian Franc. $1.00 is roughly the equivalent of 100 CFP (varies according to currency fluctuations).
