Legal Requirements
A legal wedding may be held within The Oberoi, Lombok. The marriage will be registered with the district Civil Registrar and the ceremony must be performed under religious rites. Indonesian law dictates that marriages must be conducted by a priest or minister of one of the five religions recognised by the Indonesian government – Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestant.
It is mandatory to provide proof of your current religious background, and we require a letter from your religious leader to confirm that you both attend regular services. This service is subject to additional fee.
