The Whale festival is held annually, in Hermanus, to celebrate the return of the Southern Right Whale to the waters of the Walker Bay.
It is a lively festival, filled with exciting events, lots of food and wine and of course spectacular whale watching! The whale festival attracts close to a 100 000 visitors each year and creates an amazing atmosphere to celebrate the start of the whale season!
