First Whale Calf in Walker Bay
Have a look at this incredible picture of the first calf found born in Walker Bay this year, and thus far the only one.
We first spotted him/her on Wednesday 14 July and managed to get this picture today. We have spotted it on all flights since the first sighting and the pair of them seem to be hanging around just south of the Kleinriver Lagoon mouth. Latest count seems to be just over 30 whales on all flights over Walker Bay spread mainly along the beach between the lagoon mouth and De Kelders. Take a look at the amazing whale watching tours Grootbos offers its guests.
