Is Lisbon a good place for shopping?

For those who enjoy shopping, Lisbon will prove a real paradise. Whether you`re in town for business or on holiday, take your time to stroll along the streets, glimpsing at the thousands of colourful shop-windows.

The multiplicity and variety of establishments is amazing. A shop for everything. Just next to the hotel you can find a new shopping centre with several fashionable stores, restaurants, cafés and cinemas and within a range of 5 KM, you will find some of Portugal`s largest shopping malls where you can shop until midnight.
El Corte Inglês is just 2 metro stops away and Colombo, 3 stops.

How far from the hotel is the nearest train station?

It is across the street with connections to the international train stations and touristic places like Sintra, Estoril,Cascais, etc.

How far from the hotel is the nearest bus stop?

The first Bus Stop is just 50 metres away. 

Is there a Zoo?

There is a zoo just five minutes away from the hotel.

What cultural activities does Lisbon have to offer?

Lisbon is a city with more than eight centuries of history. It offers a wide variety of cultural activities. Lots of quality Museums, art galleries and antique shops.

Some of the best museums in town are the National Museum of Ancient Art, the Coach Museum, Maritime Museum, and Berardo Museum -  an important contemporary art museum – as well as the Orient Museum, Azulejo Tile Museum and Fado Museum. and many others.

What about night life?

Throughout the year, Lisbon offers a varied programme of cultural events from concerts to church recitals to theatre and ballet performed in some of the most beautiful theatres in Europe.

At night, this multi-faced city of a million people seems to shrink to provincial dimensions. From Alcântara Docas riverfronts to Avenida 24 de Julho, from Bairro Alto to Expo, Discotheques abound with exuberance and animation.

How far from the hotel is the nearest metro station and what are the costs?

The metro is just across the street. One way ticket costs 0.70 Euros and return ticket €1.30 Euros.
