Corinthia Hotels is an internationally acclaimed brand of luxury hotels founded by the Pisani family of Malta in the 1960s.  The Corinthia brand is true to its roots as a family business, fired by a determination to succeed, an infinite devotion to detail and a boundless passion for understanding and serving its customers. 

All Corinthia hotels feature extensive leisure and business traveller facilities and are renowned for their uniqueness of character.  Corinthia Hotels’ portfolio includes the award-winning Corinthia Hotel Budapest in Hungary, Corinthia Hotel Prague in the Czech Republic, Corinthia Hotel St Petersburg in Russia and Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa in Malta. 

The portfolio also features the splendid Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay in Malta, the superior five-star Corinthia Hotel Tripoli in Libya, and the modern Corinthia Hotel Lisbon in Portugal.  The latest addition to the Corinthia Hotels portfolio are the Corinthia Hotel London which opened its door in April 2011.

• 1968
  Opening of Corinthia Palace Hotel and Spa in Attard, Malta
• 1969
  Opening of first conference centre in Malta – The Chameleon at the Corinthia Palace Hotel and Spa
• 1980
  Head Office moves to Europa Centre, Floriana, Malta
• 1993
  Re-opening of refurbished Corinthia Palace Hotel and Spa in Attard
• 1995
  Opening of Corinthia Hotel St. Georges Bay in St Julians, Malta
• 1997
  Acquisition of the five star Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal in Budapest and commencement of rebuilding project.
• 1998
  Acquisition of the Corinthia Hotel Prague in the Czech republic. 
  Acquisition of land in Tripoli, Libya for the construction of the Group's first five star hotel in that Country.
• 2002
  Acquisition of the five-star Corinthia Nevskij Palace Hotel in St Petersburg, Russia
  Opening of the five star Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal in Budapest following re-build.
• 2003
  Opening of the newly constructed five star Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel in Tripoli, Libya
• 2004
  Re-opening of the refurbished Corinthia Hotel Lisbon, Portugal
• 2006
  Inauguration of Royal Residence at Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal in Budapest.
  Inauguration of Royal Spa at Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal Budapest.
  Laying of foundation stone of Corinthia Nevskij Palace Hotel extension project in St Petersburg, Russia.
  Corinthia Hotels start forming part of the Wyndham Grand Collection
• 2007
  Signed management agreement for Corinthia Hotel – Algiers in Algiers.
  Signed management agreement for Corinthia Lake Resort and Spa – Bucharest.
• 2008
  Acquisition of former Metropole Hotel property in London for redevelopment as Corinthia Hotel London
  CHI signs management agreement for the operation of  Corinthia Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt
• 2009 
  Launch of Corinthia Hotels new Brand Image
  Re-opening of newly refurbished and extended Corinthia Hotel St.Petersburg
