Driving and Parking
From San Francisco International Airport and Highway 101 South: Take 101 North to 280 North towards Port of San Francisco/Daly City. Take Sixth Street Exit. Follow Sixth St. to Market St., crossing Market Street, Sixth becomes Taylor St. Go 6 blocks up Taylor St. Turn right on Post St. and go 1 block to Mason St., turn right, go 1 block to Geary St. and turn right. Clift is at the end of the block on the left-hand corner of Geary and Taylor Streets.
From Golden Gate Bridge and Highway 101 North:
Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and exit Lombard Street. Turn right on Van Ness Ave. Go 14 blocks and turn left on Bush St. Turn right on Mason St., then right on Geary St. Clift is at the end of the block on the left hand corner of Geary and Taylor Streets.
From the Bay Bridge/Interstate 80 and the East Bay:
Cross the Bay Bridge and exit Fremont Street. Turn left at the first light, which is Howard Street. Go 4 blocks and turn right on Third Street. Move into the left lane. Immediately after crossing Market St., turn left on Geary St. and go 5 blocks to Clift which is at the end of the block on the left-hand corner of Geary and Taylor Streets.
From Highway 1 South and Monterey/Carmel: Follow Highway 1 North to Highway 156 North. Follow Highway 156 to San Francisco and Highway 101 North. Follow signs to Highway 80 East/Bay Bridge. Take the Fourth Street Exit, veer left and go 1 block and turn left on Third Street. Stay left and go 5 blocks, cross Market St. and make an immediate left on Geary St. Go 5 blocks, Clift is at the end of the block on the left-hand corner of Geary and Taylor Streets.
Valet Parking: Valet parking costs $50 per 24 hours plus 14.5% tax. This includes in/out priviledges. The cost will be billed to your hotel account and reservations are not necessary. There is an additional charge of $10 for oversized vehicles.

Arriving at the Airport
From San Francisco Airport (SFO):
Private Car:
A pick-up in a private car will cost $109 or $139 including tax and
gratuity depending on whether the incoming flight is domestic or
international. You can add this on as part of your reservation when booking online or make arrangements with our concierge by calling +1 415 929 2354.
Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport on a first-come, first-served basis. This will cost you approximately $45 depending on traffic and will take about 20 minutes of travel-time.
Shuttle: You may take the Airport Express shuttle from the airport (look for signage around the airport). Their direct line is: +1 415 775 5121. The cost is $15.00 per person. Please note that these shuttles make multiple stops along the way, so travel time may be longer (approximately 45 minutes).
BART: If you do not have a lot of luggage
BART is a great option.
BART is the Bay Area Rail Transit subway system and it costs $5.15 per person . Take the Blue line towards Dublin/Pleasanton to the Powell Street stop. Exit and and start going north on Powell Street. Walk three blocks and then make a left on Geary. Walk two more blocks. Clift is located at 495 Geary Street.
From Oakland International Airport (OAK):
Private car:
A pick-up in a private car will cost you a flat rate of $142 including tax and gratuity. You can add this on as part of your reservation when booking online or make arrangements with our concierge by calling +1 415 929 2354.
Taxi: Taxis are available at the airport on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is a metered fare of approximately $60, depending on traffic.
BART: If you do not have a lot of luggage
BART is a great option.
BART is the Bay Area Rail Transit subway system and it costs $3.35 per person . You will need to take the AirBART Bus located outside the terminal to the
BART station. This will cost $2.00. Take the Blue line towards Milbrae to the Powell Street stop or the Green line towards Daly Street to the Powell Street stop. Exit and and start going north on Powell Street. Walk three blocks and then make a left on Geary. Walk two more blocks.
Clift is located at 495 Geary Street.

San Francisco has two main systems to transport you throughout the city and surrounding areas, The
MUNI and
BART.
MUNI: The
MUNI is comprised of Cable Cars, Buses & Subways. The fare for
MUNI: $1.50 for adults and .50 cents for seniors and children up 17 years. For more information visit

BART:
BART is a system designed to take you to certain areas and neighborhoods in San Francisco including San Francisco International and Oakland International Airports. The fares vary. The main
BART station is located at Market Street & Powell Street (approximate a three block walk from Clift) which is also the main turnaround for The Cable Cars. A one way Cable Car fare is $5.00. We advise using the Cable Cars primarily for transportation around to and from Fisherman’s Wharf. For more information visit
