Cipriani's 50th Anniversary Celebration
It was on May 26, 1958 that Commendatore Giuseppe Cipriani, founder of the renowned Harry’s Bar in Venice, opened the Hotel Cipriani on the island of Giudecca. At the time, the price for a room was 8,000 Italian Lire and a Bellini cost 500 Italian Lire! In 50 years the Hotel Cipriani has become one of the most exclusive hotels in the world. The celebrations for the Anniversary include several initiatives that have already taken place and others that will take place throughout the year, both inside and outside the Hotel. |
Gold-based treatments Guests can pampered themselves with exclusive facial and body beauty treatments based on 24-carat gold, ideal for making the skin uniform and velvety smooth. Treatments are available in the Casanova Wellness Centre. Cipriani Menu around the world The Cipriani Restaurants of the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro, the Lapa Palace in Lisbon and the Reid’s Palace in Madeira will render homage to their ‘Mother Restaurant’ at the Cipriani by serving an Anniversary Menu.
