Meet our Chef Andrea Vercelli

Born in Novara, Andrea Vercelli is passionate about cooking since childhood, when he watched his grandfather, his teacher of the reception and hospitality. For this reason, even today at the Baglioni Hotel London, after dinner, he loves to talk with the guests and establish a human relationship with the clients.

After graduation, he began his culinary career in his region, Piedmont, and then, few years later, he arrived in London and he exported the typical Italian skills and taste. Before working at Brunello Lounge & Restaurant, Andrea Vercelli worked in the kitchen of Marco Pierre Whites’s, Luciano Restaurant. Previously he has worked at some of London's best-loved Italian restaurants including Caffe Caldesi, Rosmarino and Harry’s Bar.

The eclecticism of Chef Andrea Vercelli leads him to experiment and update his menu every three months, without upsetting the traditional dishes. At Brunello Lounge & Restaurant, Chef serves a Mediterranean cuisine, in which his creative nature is evident and characterized by a constant pursuit of taste.

His imagination and his emotions are part of the plate, without neglecting the season, always stressing the importance of the product as the basic element of every dish. Precisely for this reason, many fresh ingredients come from Italy, keeping the original flavors. Despite his young age, the job of this thirty-three Chef were influenced by all the collogues met during his career, in Italy and abroad, but the food and the presentation are derived entirely from his imagination.
