Baglioni Hotels and Andrea Bocelli, together for Abruzzo

This year, Baglioni Hotels will again be the official partner of the three stages of Andrea Bocelli’s concert event.

On 25 May 2009 at 20.30, the splendid voice of the Italian tenor will ring out in the historic Roman setting of the Coliseum. Bocelli will be accompanied by the Abruzzo Symphonic Orchestra, whose headquarters were destroyed by the terrible earthquake. The proceeds for the event organised by Four One Music & Events will go to the Department for Cultural Heritage of the Region of Abruzzo. Bocelli and the Mayor of Rome Gianni Alemanno will hand over the cheque for the funds collected to the Regional President Gianni Chiodi.

On 1 July 2009, the Tenor will be in Venice to “warm up” Piazza San Marco, once again accompanied by the great conductor Eugene Kohn, and will then return to “his” magical Lajatico on 18 July 2009, in the evocative setting of the Teatro del Silenzio.
