New Entry Requirements to Sri Lanka
From 1 January 2012, foreign nationals will be required to obtain visa prior to arrival in Sri Lanka. Visitors can process their visa applications online which will be made available from 28 September 2011. During the first 3 months of introducing the visa prior to arrival rule, immigration will allow visitors arriving without a visa to fill up a form on arrival. Maldivians and Singaporeans do not require visas prior to arrival. Enquiries should be directed to the nearest Sri Lankan embassy or consulate prior to travel.

Sri Lankan Cooking
Guests with a passion for cooking can now spend an afternoon with our Chefs to learn to prepare an authentic Sri Lankan meal. Early morning Sunday fish port and market visits may also be arranged. Dry herbs and spices that are difficult to find may be neatly packed for guests’ trips home.
