Villa Cima provides an opportunity to relax and unwind in privacy while enjoying spectacular vistas and the luxurious service and facilities of one of Italy's finest hotels, Villa d'Este. It's regal poise is no accident, commissioned in 1814 by Caroline of Brunswick, Princess of Wales and the future Queen of England, to house the former owners of Villa d'Este, Count and Countess Pilo.

Sumptious, stylish and spacious (650 sq m / 7000 sq ft), Villa Cima offers comfort and privacy while its own terraces and gardens, directly overlooking the exquisite lake, provide ample space to entertain alfresco. The villa is set within 25 acres of Villa d'Este's stunning gardens, with topiary hedges, bamboo, azaleas, camellias, oleanders, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, roses and jasmine bushes. The trees range from chestnut, magnolia, oleafragrans, wisteria, palm, cypress, pine, ilex, privet, mediar to many others. This beautiful location offers a rare combination of complete privacy and 5 star service provided by the hotel.

Villa Cima's magnificent interiors are decorated in a variety of traditional styles and are complemented by a collection of striking antiques and art.

The spectacular views from every window are simply breathtaking, creating images that will stay with you and your family for a lifetime. The private terraces offer guests the perfect opportunity to enjoy alfresco living, while marveling at the incomparable beauty of Lake Como. The poet Shelley captured the location perfectly "This lake exceeds anything else I have ever beheld in beauty."

• - Vila Cima offers spacious and stylish accommodation over 650 sq m / 7000 sq ft on three floors
• - The Villa is air-conditioned throughout and guests can enjoy spectacular views of Lake Como from their bedrooms

Ground floor

• - Beautifully furnished junior suite with lakeside views from the terrace, en-suite marble bathroom and a walk in closet.
• - A full equipped kitchen leads through to a large dining area. Alternatively guests may choose to dine on the generously sized terraces where they can soak up the beauty of Lake Como.

Mezzanine floor

• - A spacious and luxurious suite with a terrace and views of the lake, a separate seating area, large en-suite marble bathroom and walk in closet.
• - This level also features a large living room made up of two separate rooms with a beautiful terrace.

Third floor

• - Two perfectly sized corner rooms with 2 large private terraces and a shared seating area which can be converted into a single room. Both rooms have their own marble bathrooms and walk-in closets.

• - Menaggio, Tremezzo: 40-60 minutes by boat

Rental notes

• - Rental from Sunday to Saturday only (7 days, 6 nights). Longer or shorter periods can be arranged.
• - Villa Cima guests have access to all Villa d'Este's hotel services, including: housekeeping twice a day, room service (with a wide choice of snacks throughout the day) and the use of all the hotel facilities, including all the three Villa d'Este Restaurants.
• - In-villa continental breakfast or buffet breakfast at the Veranda Restaurant.
• - Free membership to the Villa d'Este Sporting Club including: gym, tennis, swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), sauna and Turkish baths, putting green, kid's club (when in operation), sail boats, jogging tracks and bicycles.
• - Rental includes all utilities, property insurance, satellite tv and maintenance of the private garden.

• - Villa d'Este owns a private helipad which is available on request for those wishing to use a helicopter.
